To kick start the New Year and the busiest time of the year for gyms and health clubs, Leisure Connection has invested £220,000 into new equipment across their estate.
This national investment will see new spin bikes, personal training equipment, human sport equipment, max racks, kettle bells and much more delivered to Leisure Connection’s estate of more than 70 sites.
Kevin Yates, Group Harpers Fitness Manager said: “Staying true to our vision of delivering a private sector experience within a public access environment we want to ensure our customers and members have access to the very best industry equipment. What’s more, since the launch of the Harpers Experience we have seen the demand for affordable personal training rocket, with 465% increase in this area.”
Despite the credit crunch Leisure Connection has seen its membership base steadily increase as more people want affordable access to a more active lifestyle and are swapping their private memberships for the public access alternative.
