About me:

I am a very active person who is passionate about basketball, training and coaching. As a professional athlete I’ve managed to represent England on countless occasions (Commonwealth Bronze Medal Winner ‘06) and also played in Europe for a few years. I am currently the Captain for the number 1 team in the country, ‘Guildford Heat.’ I enjoy socialising and experiencing new things in life.

Qualifications:

I am working towards NVQ Level 3 with Lifetime Fitness Instructor/Personal trainer. I have also got coaching awards in basketball and football.

Experience:

I have worked within the fitness/leisure industry for more than 10 years in varying roles. Over those years I have acquired a vast amount of knowledge from trainers and other athletes within the sporting world. I always strive for perfection and adopt the same attitude when training clients in order to reach their goals.

Hobbies:

Coaching basketball, playing video games and reading.

I am REPS level 3 qualified as a fitness instructor, also qualified Spin and Circuits
Instructor, and I am also first aid trained.
Experience:
I have worked within the fitness industry for approx eight years and having worked
in many leisure centres and fitness suites.
I have a wide range of knowledge of this industry. I train myself and a variety of
clients that all require different personal goals and want different achievements,
all of which have achieved their personal goals and have achieved great results.

For more than a decade as Director of Dragon Tiger I have been promoting excellence among groups and individuals health and fitness; stress reduction and self protection to enable them to exceed their personal goals. The vision is to deliver cost effective, high quality advice, education and training for people in need.
I believe in actively involving clients in their own goal setting and progression planning. Respect the

Qualifications:
An honours graduate from the University of London and I have been a certified Personal Trainer with the American Council of Exercise since 1995. Retiring from full contact martial arts competition in the year 2000 having achieved in the Heavyweight Division British, European and World titles in Muay Thai Boxing (International Thai Boxing Federation), Full Contact Kickboxing (International Sport Karate Association: British Champion & World Kickboxing Association: European Champion) and no holds barred Freestyle Fighting (World Karate & Kickboxing Council: World Champion). I was tutored privately in Qi Gong (Chi Kung) internal martial art system by Sifu Yap Leong of Shaolin Fists. Being registered with the British Self Defence Governing Body I am also a Security Industry Authority certified Conflict Management Trainer. C.H.E.K. certified Level II Nutrition & Lifestyle Coach with the expertise to ascertain your appropriate eating plan for maintaining optimal health as delineated by your Metabolic Type.
Experience:
With more than fifteen years of professional teaching experience I run Dragon Tiger to coach individuals and groups in health, fitness and self protection in the form of one to one sessions, group or corporate classes by arrangement and seminars or workshops as required. Floyd has trained in martial arts for 30 years.
