We are a branch of the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) and have plenty to offer for both those new to scuba diving and experienced divers looking to go on trips or advance their skills. SASAC has its own clubhouse, which is open from 7.30-11.30pm every Wednesday, including a lecture room where all the theory lessons for our various training courses take place, and a licensed bar.
Our snorkelling course, open to young people of 12 years old and above, is a great introduction to the underwater world and can be a first step to learning how to dive or play underwater hockey. Qualified British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) snorkelling instructors run three six-week courses a year.

Tang Soo Do is a traditional Korean Martial Art teaching self-defence, hand and foot sparring and free-fighting techniques. The mental and physical training involves the application of co-ordinated agility, dynamic mobility, power and endurance. TSD is suitable for both sexes from the age of 6 upwards.
Classes are held at Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre on Monday evenings and Saturday mornings.

Popdance kids is a dance class designed for children, teaching fun, child-friendly routines to 'pop' music, with no pressure to get the steps exactly right. All classes are run in a relaxed environment where children of all abilities can have fun, be themselves. A great way to exercise without realising!
Classes take place at Westminster Lodge Dance Studio 4pm to 5pm on Wednesdays for Children aged 5-11 years.

St Albans Athletics Club
St Albans Athletics Club is a small club and our emphasis is still on the younger athletes - although we do compete as a composite club in the Southern Men's, Southern Women's and National Junior leagues. At the club we have a number of coaches with knowledge on every discipline for all ages who will provide basic skills to younger athletes and more advanced specialised techniques to older athletes.
