All personal trainers have these biographies which I find a little ironic, as really the client/trainer relationship is about YOU not me, but for all of you who want to know a little about me here we go. I take a holistic approach to personal training taking into account lifestyle, nutrition, occupation, exercise & activity levels. This alongside my qualifications in sports & massage therapy, adaptive training for the disabled person, enables me to tailor a programme to suit your needs and requirements. I take a goal oriented approach to training, although I do feel that personal training should compliment your lifestyle and not take over it. Therefore I aim to make training fun & enjoyable, while being productive at the same time. I have had the privilege over the past years to train many different kinds of people working to achieve a wide variety of goals including: training for a marathon, attaining entry requirements for both the army and police force, weight management, rehabilitation after injury or major surgery, adapted training for clients with various conditions and disabilities.

Mandy GrantAs a Personal Trainer and Sports Therapist, I believe health and fi tness doesn’t just stop on
the gym fl oor. It is about your lifestyle, nutrition and general wellbeing that comes with taking
care of your body inside and out. I am very passionate about fi tness and enjoy encouraging
others to follow me in my way of thinking. However looking after yourself should be fun as
well as rewarding. The fi tness industry has many myths attached to it and I feel it is my job
to educate people so they can get the best from themselves; their diet, training and the
feeling good that comes from it.
I danced from the age of 5 and then moved on to the gym fl oor, aerobics and swimming
as soon as I could. From there my social life revolved around keeping fi t so I went to college
in my twenties and trained as an aerobics instructor. After two years of teaching I moved
on to study sports therapy, nutrition and personal training. My passion means that I will never
leave the health and fi tness industry. I hope to move up to level 4 instructor, after building
a Personal Training base. I look forward to your support.

Peter MascarenhasPersonally I believe personal training is much more than just training and eating well, so I like
building close relationships with all my clients so they can be open and honest with me and
vice versa.
I got into fi tness at age 4 when I fi rst took up martial arts, and by the age of 15 I was teaching
alongside my kung fu instructor. I am very passionate about fi tness and I guarantee to always
help my clients reach their goals.
I love training myself and I have had a lot of people comment on how well I train and how
I can easily adapt my weight for different training goals i.e. I have times when I am body
building and times where I am training purely for fi tness and defi nition. The key to success is
motivation and determination and I have been told I am great at getting my clients motivated
and determined to reach their goals. I have a lot of different workouts and I believe personal
training is not putting someone on a machine for an hour but doing training that is not always
used and rarely seen.
