Harpers at North Kesteven Centre

Situated in the heart of North Hykeham, The North Kesteven Centre, including the Terry O'Toole Theatre, offers something for everyone. With a wide range of sporting activities, dance projects and performances to see, we can offer a one stop shop for all your leisure requirements.

Whether you are young or old, new to exercise, looking to restart a physical routine or reignite an interest in the arts, we've got the team on hand to advise and support you all the way through the process.

New swimming offer available for kids!

On 15 July, the North Kesteven contract ended their free swimming promotion for all under 8s. However, we do want to keep local youngsters swimming! Why not sign your child up for the September Swim School term at North Kesteven Centre which includes unlimited swimming in public sessions throughout the summer and the swimming lesson term! Zumba hits Hykeham

Enjoy a combination of aerobic exercise and high energy Latin and international music at the Centre as Zumba classes are introduced.

Zumba, a Latin inspired dance fitness programme, was created by choreographer and dancer, Alberto "Beto" Perez, in Colombia during the 1990s. Unlike a usual class where counts are used, Zumba involves dancing to rhythmical music using repetitive movements. Hip-hop, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo, martial arts and some Bollywood and belly dance moves are all incorporated. Easy to follow, exhilarating, energetic, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning – just a few words to describe this new dance craze.

The classes take place every Thursday from 6pm – 7pm. Places cost £2 each week for members and £5.60 for casual users. For further information or to book your place, call or email the centre.

The Ascent – A new indoor climbing experience
at the centre

The Ascent provides a unique climbing experience for all. ExtremeNK provide instructed sessions for those with various climbing ability, casual climbing is ideal for more than one competent climber and you can also exclusively book the wall!

The Ascent has been funded by The Foundation for Sport and the Arts and Leisure Connection.

Children’s Parties at the North Kesteven Centre!

We’ve got the most exciting packages for parties of 10 children or more. We organise the party to your requests, all you have to do is select the activity and we do the rest! We offer a variety of activities, flexible to the age group and requirements of the party child. All our staff are fully trained so we can guarantee maximum fun in a safe environment.
