Whether you want to get fit, tone your body or just improve your lifestyle, we now have excellent facilities to suit your needs:
Tennis – our three astro-turf tennis courts can be booked up to 13 days in advance via the club reception. Guests of members are welcome for a nominal charge. The Tennis club meet on a Wednesday night from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
Badminton – we have four badminton courts available, which can also be booked up to 13 days in advance via the club reception with guests of members that are more than welcome for a nominal charge. The badminton club meet on Thursday nights.
Squash – there are three squash courts available for 45 minute games, bookable via the club reception. The squash club meet every Monday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
Snooker – if you like snooker, we have a table available for members only. All members can join for a small annual fee. The club organises games against other local clubs throughout the winter months only.
Sports Hall – our sports hall can cater for a five a side football match to a basketball competition's and is available throughout the week to book. Please contact reception.
Members of the Meadhurst Club are welcome to bring up to three guests into the club. They must be signed in at reception and accompanied on the premises at all times. We do not allow guests to use the Gym facilities. A guest fee will apply for use of all the club's sporting activities.
The Meadhurst club gym offers a personalised service to its members by maintaining regular contact with the fitness instructors to ensure you are always getting the maximum enjoyment from your workout. More importantly we keep you motivated by updating your programme and ensuring that you are working safely to help you achieve your goals.
The Meadhurst club gym is staffed with qualified instructors and personal trainers who will be available to answer any questions of give advice at any time.
We offer a wide range of Cardio Vascular (aerobic) equipment including treadmills, rowers, step machines, bikes and cross trainers: and a wide range of the latest resistance (weight training) equipment, all selected with the aim of helping to achieve your goals.
We also have a free weights area, for more advanced forms of training such as core stability work and specific workouts for each muscle group.
