Harpenden is a picturesque and lively Hertfordshire town situated 5 miles north
of the historic town of St Albans. The centre is located in Rothamsted Park where
the Gym has a lovely view overlooking the whole park. The centre also has a wide
variety of activities which are detailed more in the facilities section.

Now available for Hire here at Harpenden Sports Centre. We also have Free usage
on the pitch for Schools and the Community which is detailed on the attached

Half Term Children’s Holiday Activity Camps with Fit For Sport!

Keeping children entertained and active during the holidays can be a real challenge, that’s why Fit for Sport, the UK’s Leading Healthy Lifestyle Activities Provider, is hosting Children’s Holiday Activity Camps at Harpenden during June Half Term ( Wed 6th – Fri 8th June)!

Batchwood Customer Notice:

Following the fire which destroyed Batchwood Golf and Tennis Centre on 10th
August 2011, we have now completed the process of finding temporary locations
to operate both the Adult and Child tennis courses. As some of these sessions
are taking place at Harpenden Leisure Centre, please see the full programme of
