A Bit About Me:

I have been training people professionally for many years now. I played sport throughout school and onto University. It was after University that I became a professional Ski Instructor. As a result, my interest in gym based training grew. I subsequently followed a path into personal training.

I like nothing more than helping people achieve and hope fully exceed their goals.

As a professional trainer, in the gym and on snow, over the past ten years I have been involved with many different people from all walks of life. No matter the goal or task ahead I still get a huge buzz from helping people achieve and progress. I love nothing more than seeing a smile on a clients face and hearing them say, ‘I did it!!’
Hobbies:

Aside from training and skiing, I really enjoy the outdoors; hiking, camping and mountain-biking. I also enjoy my food, particularly sharing a good meal with my friends and my young family.

I have worked at the Castle Sports Complex for 20 years, beginning as a freelance exercise teacher. I still today get a massive buzz from teaching classes as indeed I do from Managing Harpers Fitness Suite. Over the years I have helped so many customers lose weight, trim up & improve their lives by gaining a greater level and understanding of fitness.

Hobbies:

Competing with my family in the winter months whilst Snow Skiing/Boarding, the summer months revolve around my enthusiasm to Water skiing/boarding, wake skating, Kite Surfing, Sailing and Wind surfing. All these activities require regular travelling, which is yet another interest of mine.

Vicki Sayer

About me:

I have been a regular gym user since my early 20’s. I joined the Castle Sports Complex subsequent to the birth of my third son, attending classes and going to the gym.

Experience:

With my third son starting school, I decided to go back to work. After opting for a career change I started working at Harpers in November 2006. During this time I have been studying
and gained my NVQ Level 2 and Level 3. I enjoy working with our Weight Management and GP clients motivating & helping them achieve their goals.

Hobbies:

With being a Mum of three busy boys my life is full of motorbikes and rugby. I do still manage to get to the classes and gym 3-4 times a week and enjoy the coffee and chat afterwards
with the girls.

Kimberley Wilson

Personal Trainer
About me:

Whilst at college I worked at the Sports Complex taking on a range of roles from Kids Club Coach to Fitness Consultant. I left in 2000 to find full time employment working as a Fitness Consultant subsequently I worked my way up the ladder to Regional Manager. In February 2008 I realised that people were my main passion and that’s who I wanted to work with, not computers, targets and driving all over the country, so you could say “I’ve gone back to my roots!” I now teach various classes, workout with the GP referrals, weight management and I love very minute, I love helping people learn new skills and achieve their goals.

Alison White

Personal Trainer
About me:
I began working in the fitness industry whilst at college; I worked as a recreational attendant.
Since then I have had many roles including sales, kid’s club coach, receptionist and group training
instructor. But it’s in Harpers where I feel most at home.
In 2005 I decided to spread my wings and went to work in a French ski resort for 6 months, and
following that I spent a further year travelling the world. On my return I worked at our sister site in
Long Sutton then in 2009 I came full circle – working part time again at the Castle Sports Complex,
just as I started 12 years ago.

I have worked in many areas in the leisure industry but it’s working in Harpers which I enjoy the
most. I currently teach Aquafit and help run the GP referral scheme which is very satisfying
especially when clients come on leaps and bounds. The best part of the job is seeing people
achieve their goals.
Hobbies:
My passion in life is snowboarding and after my second pregnancy I intend to get back up on the
mountain, so watch out all you skiers!
I also enjoy spending time in the outdoors with my family and my chocolate Labrador.
