Ben Chapman

About me:

I have a huge passion for training, mainly for size and strength; a large part of my training is based around strongman events. Along with this I enjoy running to ensure I keep a high level of cardiovascular fitness. I have a keen interest in old training methods, different styles of training and bodybuilding and its history. In my free time I like to research & devise training routines for me to try out. I tend to get on with absolutely anyone & my aim as a personal trainer is to transform my clients
lifestyles & change their life for the better.

Qualifications:

I am a fully qualified personal trainer, spinning instructor, circuit training instructor and an exercise to music instructor. I am qualified in nutrition so whether its for weight management or sport specific I will be able to aid your nutritional goals.

Experience:

I am an ex Royal Marine Commando who served all over the world, including Iraq on fleet protection duties. I have a vast amount of experience taking and performing physical training and implementing it into to day to day life. I trained hard in bodybuilding when I was younger, then I stripped down my body weight to become the fittest of the fit when I joined the Royal Marines at the age of 21. Since leaving the forces in early 2006 I have got back into weightlifting/bodybuilding & put on some size again, which was incredibly challenging. I’ve experienced working towards & achieving ultimate fitness goals & I’d love to work with you to achieve yours. If you looking to achieve, call me!

Hobbies:

I love training outdoors, eating good food, playing Xbox 360 in my down time, reading, watching movies and travelling.

About me:

I grew up with sport, my family owned a sport shop in town for over 20 years and working
there was my fi rst Saturday job. My brother is a Golf Pro and coach and also a personal
trainer, so it is defi nitely in our blood! I have played golf, tennis and done some swimming
over the years but the gym is what I enjoy.
After having 2 children I gained 5 stone and felt my body was destroyed! I hit the gym
hard. I began to study Anatomy & Physiology and became a level 2 gym instructor.
With this knowledge I dropped from almost a size 20 to a 12 in 18 months.
I want to help mums/women lose weight/tone up/get fi t and show them it can be done
with some hard work and motivation.

Qualifi cations:

I am a fully qualifi ed level 2 gym instructor working on obtaining my level 3.

Experience:

I have worked with the public for over 10 years. I have been a member here for 5 years
and I have met and stayed friends with some lovely people.

Hobbies:

SPINNING! I love spinning, I try to come 2 – 3 times a week. My next goal is to become
a qualifi ed spinning instructor. Other than that spending time with my husband and
two lovely children, we love swimming, walking and fun packed holidays.
When I do get free time I enjoy reading books, mainly about core, nutrition, and
postnatal fi tness.
