At Bisham Abbey we have years of wedding venue experience. We have a dedicated team of Wedding co-ordinators who will guide you through every aspect of planning your Wedding Day.

Set just outside Marlow in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside, Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre is situated on the banks of the river Thames. A twelfth century Abbey, that was once home to Henry VIII, is a unique, intimate and romantic venue providing the perfect backdrop for any special occasion. Our prestigious Abbey and grounds ensure that the wedding photography can provide the most beautiful and dramatic wedding pictures.

The Great Hall, delightful for your wedding breakfast has a 100ft high vaulted ceiling with a minstrel's gallery and feature fireplace. The Warwick Room is a beautiful dark oak panelled room with a wooden floor, ideal for the more intimate meal, and also licensed for civil ceremony. The Margaret Dickinson Bar, Lounge and patio and the adjoining Sonning Room informally allows guests to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of this exceptional venue.

The Wedding Reception
 

 The Bisham Abbey Wedding Package is designed for 80 to 120 guests. From £75.00 per person. If your numbers are above this then you could consider our bespoke marquee wedding package (see Parties and Marquee events page for further details)
• The Great Hall for your Wedding Breakfast
• The Margaret Dickinson Lounge and Sonning Room for the evening reception
• Welcome drink served to your guests on arrival
• Three-course menu or presentation buffet, coffee and petit fours
• Half a bottle of house wine per person served with the meal
• A glass of sparkling wine to toast the Bride and Groom
• Sparkling and still Mineral Water on each table
• Silver cake stand and knife
• Silver candelabras with your choice of colour candles, and/or mirrored display plate
• Complimentary room for the bride and groom
• Discounted onsite accommodation rates for your guests
• Complimentary menu tasting after contractual agreement has been signed. (Excluding beverages)
• Car parking onsite.
 

Civil Ceremony
 

Make your wedding vows together in the beautiful oak panelled Warwick Room.

The facility fee is £450.00 and the room holds a maximum of 90 guests.

Please note that the charge for the ceremony is £1500, should you wish to hold just your wedding ceremony here and not your reception.
