Situated just one mile outside of Marlow, Buckinghamshire on the banks of the River Thames, this twelfth century Abbey was once home to Henry VIII. It offers character and charisma and is the perfect environment for any celebration.
On the day of a special event you want all your friends and family around you to relax and enjoy the idyllic surroundings. If you arrange to meet a member of our events team and tell us a little bit about your proposed function, we can apply our knowledge and expertise to suggest the rooms that would compliment your celebration.

Our professional team of chefs have produced a variety of quality menus to assist your choices. However, if you have something specific in mind, please do not hesitate to make a suggestion and we would be happy to tailor a menu to suit your personal requirements.
We can erect marquees on the riverside lawn to specification for your celebration, enabling you to cater for larger groups for dinner, dances, parties or weddings.
Marquee Weddings
The ultimate mix of a lawn wedding with Bisham Abbey and The River Thames as a backdrop. Designed for a minimum of 120 seated guests our Marquee Wedding Package is the perfect combination of a historic Abbey with the magical experience of a Marquee Lawn Event. (Extras are available for your marquee on request- such as starlight lighting all of which can be added for an additional cost).
From £95.00 per person the Marquee Wedding Package includes;
• Welcome drink served to your guests on arrival
• Three-course menu or presentation buffet, coffee and petit fours
• Half a bottle of house wine per person served with the meal
• A glass of sparkling wine to toast the Bride and Groom
• Sparkling and still Mineral Water on each table
