Batchwood Golf & Tennis Centre

 Batchwood Golf and Tennis Centre suffered in a fire during the early hours of Wednesday 10th August 2011 which has destroyed most of the building, bowls club and golf club. The cause of the fire is not yet known.

Batchwood Golf and Tennis Centre is operating from temporary accommodation (includes a reception, toilets and a meeting room), that is located between the Night Club, 3rd Green and the rear driveway. Bookings can be made by contacting us on 01727 844250.

Golf course open as normal. The Batchwood Tennis Bubble (3 indoor
courts) re-opened on Monday 17th October 2011 for 6 months.

Members of the Gym and Aerobics facilities are able to utilise these facilities and should contact the centres above for more information regarding classes and bookings or visit our website on www.leisureinstalbans.co.uk .

Users of the Batchwood squash courts are advised that we are not able to offer any alternative facilities within the St Albans Leisure Contract.  However, a list of local facilities that may be suitable to users can be found on the Timetables/Brochures tab.
