Routes to Westminster Lodge
Walking.
Approx 10 Minutes
From the Centre of town walk down the A1081 St Peters Street/Chequer Street locate the main cross road of Holywell Hill A5183 and London Road A1081 and walk down Holywell Hill A5183 travelling past the White Hart Public House, making sure you are on the right side of the road (next to High Adventure) on your Left approximately 100meters down the hill on the Right is the Duke Of Marlborough Public House.
Now walk approximately 50meters and you will see a Brown Sign post pointing to the entrance of Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre. Keep walking and you have arrived at WESTMINSTER LODGE.

From King Harry Lane walk down St Stevens Hill A5183 so that you have the Church ground on your right hand side and follow this until you reach Premier Foods on your Right, Walk past Sainsbury’s and go across Griffiths Way staying on the A5183 now Holywell Hill. Pass Prospect road on your right and using the traffic lights cross the road and you will see a Brown Sign post pointing to the entrance of Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre. Keep walking and you have arrived at WESTMINSTER LODGE.
TRAIN
St Albans Abbey Rail Station.
Approximately 5 Minute walk
Walk out of the Station until you reach the main road A5183 and turn Right onto Holywell Hill, Pass Prospect road on your right and using the traffic lights cross the road and you will see a Brown Sign post pointing to the entrance of Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre. Keep walking and you have arrived at WESTMINSTER LODGE.

Approximately 30 Minute Walk
Come out of the station and turn left walking down Beaconsfield Road for approximately 50 metres then turn Right onto Victoria Street B691. Keep walking Approximately 700 Metres with the Robin Hood Public house on your left, Crossing Lattimore road,Turn left onto Chequer Street A1081 past Jessops and The Bell Public House on your left, walk approximately 800 meters until you reach the bottom of Holywell Hill and you will see a Brown Sign post pointing to the entrance of Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre. Keep walking and you have arrived at WESTMINSTER LODGE.
