What's your BMI?
BMI (Body Mass Index) calculates the ratio between your weight and height, providing a healthy weight range to gauge yourself against.
Medical professionals recommend a BMI of between 20 and 25 for optimum health. The World Health Organisation classifies a BMI of 25 to 30 as overweight, and over 30 as obese.
BMI is only intended as a rough guide. It cannot take body type into account or distinguish between weight associated with muscle or fat.
