Play NK Launched their very own mobile play facility called the POD in October 2010 to work with children and young people aged 0-16 across the district. The POD is able to host sessions for parents/ carers with babies & toddlers, primary school and secondary school age sessions. The POD is self contained and will offer everything from computer access and interactive gaming to reading areas and arts and crafts.
All free inclusive play sessions are aimed at areas that are seen as being in need of a facility such as this, whether there is no other provision for children and young people in the area, problems with anti-social behaviour or an area of special interest as requested
The POD operates all year round except for one week over the Christmas holidays. The POD operates 6 days a week and has a very packed timetable. The timetable is a mixture of targeted block delivery which coincides with the school term and then one off delivery days during all of the school holiday periods.

Tuesday 13th December, 20th December Ruskington – Red Lion Car Park 11am – 6.30pm – all ages
Wednesday 7th December, 14th December, 21st December Heckington – Sports Club Car Park 11am – 6.30pm – all ages
Thursday 8th December, 15th December Washingborough – Community Centre Car Park 11am – 6.30pm – all ages
Friday 9th December, 16th December Waddington – Red Wood Drive Community Centre 11am – 6.30pm – all ages

Please note if aged 0 – 8 years the form must be signed by a parent or guardian and the adult must attend the activity. If aged 9 or above the young person can self register and attend as an individual.
