Harpenden Public Halls
The Halls are set on the edge of Harpenden Common and offer an ideal venue for your function in very attractive surroundings. There is a choice of two halls for hire, accommodating both small and large occasions. A licensed bar is available and can also offer kitchen facilities.
The Eric Morecambe Hall is also available for hire as a theatre. The auditorium seats 380 and a technical specification is available on application.
Harpenden Public Halls is also the home of the Harpenden heARTS Theatre Company, Harpenden's resident professional theatre company as well as of Young heARTS, Harpenden's very own youth theatre. Bookings may be made by telephone and tickets will be held for three days pending receipt of payment by post or in person. Telephone bookings may be paid for by credit card at the time of booking by quoting your card number; they will then be held by the Box Office for your collection.
No telephone bookings will be accepted within three days of a performance unless paid for by credit card at the time of the call.
Phone bookings are available from 9.00am until 1.00pm, or until 5.00pm on performance days. (Telephone bookings can be taken up to half an hour before the show starts.) Tickets can be booked by telephoning direct on 01582 767525.
Credit / Debit cards
This service is available between the hours of 9.00am and 1.00pm, or until 5.00pm on performance days from Monday to Saturday. There is a processing fee per transaction of £1.00 for telephone credit card bookings and 50p for telephone credit card bookings if you collect the tickets in person.

Unless accompanied by a SAE, tickets will be held at the Box Office for collection. Postal bookings may be made in advance, but will only be processed just prior to booking opening.

General information
Group discounts
Certain performances offer party booking rates for 10 or more. Please enquire when booking.
Concessions
Where reduced price is indicated, groups normally included are Senior Citizens; Children; Students; UB40s and Disabled, unless otherwise stated, or the category of show excludes specific user groups.
Children's policy
Adults booking to see a children's show must be accompanied by a child.* Children under 5 will not be admitted to any show other than family shows. A ticket must be purchased for children over 18 months old.
*Exceptions to this rule will be made at the discretion of the management at the time of booking.
Hard of hearing
We have an Induction Deaf Loop System in operation. Please check with Box Office.
Disabled facilities
Wheelchair access throughout the venue. Wheelchairs can be accommodated in the auditorium, please enquire when booking. A disabled toilet is available in the foyer.
Refreshments
There is a licensed bar in the foyer. Please order your interval drinks before the performance begins.
NO SMOKING
The venue is entirely no smoking.

Parking
There is a free car park to the rear of the Halls for 30 vehicles.
Latecomers
Shall not be admitted to the auditorium until a suitable point in the performance. This is at the discretion of the Front of House Manager.
