Set in the beautiful surrounds of Verulamium Park and linked to Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre, Abbey View Golf Course and Outdoor facilities provide a variety of different activities for all of the family.
All members of the public are welcome at Abbey View, which is operated on a pay and play basis and open all year round. The course was established in 1990 and has been growing ever since.
Abbey View is highly regarded as a fine 9 hole golf course with some beautiful views of surrounding areas that can be seen from all areas of the course. The course is aimed at the young, the short of time, the beginner or those looking to tighten up their short game.
There is a golf society that plays here on a Tuesday and Thursday morning if you would like to play in competitions, gain a handicap or arrange a game with other members. Please call Abbey View on one of these days or alternatively please visit www.abbeyviewgolf.com.

9 Hole Golf Course
The par 3 golf course is the perfect location for a leisurely round of golf, or a great starting point for those looking to develop their game, but still providing some challenging shots.
Golf Lessons and Group Sessions – available through our resident golf pro – further information is available at www.upforegolf.co.uk
Athletics
Our 6 lane 400m Athletics track is available all year round and can be used for casual public use, events, clubs and sports days.
Netball Courts – Winter
3 courts available for hire from September to May, situated in Verulamium Park.
Basketball Court
1 full court available for hire all year round, situated in Verulamium Park
Football
During the winter months we have a floodlit grass football pitch available for hire. This is situated within the centre of the Athletics track.
PLEASE NOTE: All organised sessions have priority on courts.
Tennis Courts – Summer
We have 3 hard courts available for hire from June to August, situated in Verulamium Park
Crazy Golf
Please note - Unfortunately the area is closed for essential renovations works. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope to re-open as soon as possible.
We have a 12 hole crazy golf area available all year round for pay and play sessions, situated in Verulamium Park
